It was during a very anointed communion service that things really clicked for us about Jesus' broken body and cup of suffering. We cried, we prayed, we cried some more and hugged.
We're ready to go back tomorrow. With God's help, (and all y'all praying for us!) we can do this!

Holy Spirit, I ask that you, not so subtly make your presence felt, heard, and straight up known tomorrow as the children of Eagle Street are obviously struggling to feel your true presence for what ever reasons. Your team is, in effect, having difficulty with not only the children, but also feeling defeated and discouraged because there is no connection being able to be made with these children. Please God allow your spirit to fill your team even more than they already are. You know your team and the wonders they are capable of and, more importantly, you know these children and their needs. Where ever two or more come together in your name, you are sure to be found, there is no doubt of this in your team but we need your help God because there is doubt within these children. I know this pains you as much, if not worse. You say to simply ask and it will be given, well most of these kids are afraid to ask for your help because it is a sign of weakness and just as bad, they don't want something great if it is going to be taken away. This makes this peticular mission even more difficult. So we are asking for the kids God, PLEASE allow your Spirit to be seen and not just felt for these kids God. Whether that is through the individual team members or kids or the artwork or whatever, PLEASE if it be your Will, let it be so today. Help us help them through your POWER and STRENGTH that we might bring even one to the knowledge of your Kingdom. Even if only one, that is the start of a discipleship which can lead to another who may bring two, who then could maybe bring, well you know how it can go when you get involved.
Please also give this team specifically the endurance to push through what ever the day may bring.
